Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the
same things to you, to me indeed is not irksome [annoying], but for you it is safe. 2
Beware of the dogs, beware of the evil
workers, beware of the concision: 3
for we are the circumcision, who worship by
the Spirit of God, and glory in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in
the flesh: 4
though I myself might have confidence even
in the flesh: if any other man thinks to have confidence in the flesh, I
yet more: 5
circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of
Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; as touching the
law, a Pharisee; 6
as touching zeal, persecuting the church;
as touching the righteousness which is in the law, found blameless.

Howbeit what things were gain to me, these
have I counted loss for Christ. 8
Yea verily, and I count all things to be
loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I suffered the loss of all things, and
do count them but refuse, that I may gain Christ,

and be found in him, not having a
righteousness of mine own, even that which is of the law, but that which
is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith:

that I may know him, and the power of his
resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed
unto his death; 11
if by any means I may attain unto the
resurrection from the dead. 12
Not that I
have already obtained, or am already made perfect: but I press
on, if so be that I may lay hold on that for
which also I was laid hold on by Christ Jesus. 13
Brethren, I count not myself yet to have
laid hold: but one thing I do,
forgetting the things which are behind, and stretching forward to the
things which are before, 14
I press on
toward the goal unto the prize of the high calling of God in Christ
Jesus. |

Dear
Friends, One more principle in
relation to recovering from the brokenness caused by the memory of some
dark sin: Forget
it by reversing the process of remembering. Puzzled? Let me explain.
Memory works like this: ·
one revives
an image of some past event, ·
holds it in
the mind for a certain length of time, ·
and then
this process is repeated until it is locked into the memory for
good. Now begin to reverse that
process. ·
The matter
has been forgiven by God, so don't let your mind focus on
it. ·
When it
rises to the surface by itself, as it will, turn the mind away from it
immediately. ·
Have in your
mind a few interesting themes "on call." ·
Think of
another and more profitable theme. I know of a Christian man,
who was involved in a very bad sin, who has learned to blot out unwanted
memories the moment they rise to the surface by focusing his thoughts on
the cross. It does not matter what the substitute image is so long as it
is wholesome and can thrust the unwanted memory from your
attention. Another thing you can do
when the memory of your sin returns – even if it is only for a moment - is
to turn your mind to prayer. Don't pray about the sin itself - that will
keep it in the memory – but pray that God will build into you love,
forgiveness, peace, and dignity. Images that are
consciously rejected will rise less and less in your mind. When they do
occur, they will occur only as a fact, helping you not to do it again, but
the emotions will no longer register a sense of burning
shame. PRAYER: O my Father, how can I
cease thanking You for the answers You give - they are so right.
Everything within me says so. Now help me to put the things I am learning
into practice. Amen. FURTHER

Computer
As every time people were
ending their description because I mailed the monthly status I delayed it
this time to see what would happen. Well you all stayed, so although some
of you whish to know, others hate to read the report, therefore I will not
publish it again. Even if no further support
comes in, we will, thanks to your support which brought the open amount
down to only a few hundred Euro, be able to have it fully paid by April or
