It is completely useless to
argue about which church is "the true church," because
there is no such thing as "the true church." All
churches have error in their doctrine; and this is according to
God's will for us. He does not want us to understand everything at
this time.
For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now
I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. (1
Cor.13:12 KJV)
We can look to the example provided by God's chosen people,
Israel. God allowed so much error to enter their doctrine that
they were unable to recognize the Messiah, whom they were waiting
for, when He was right there among them!
whenever people try to think too much about spiritual matters,
they make serious mistakes, because the human mind is inherently
incapable of processing spiritual truths.
