Reading: 1
Corinthians 2:11-14
11 For
what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man
which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but
the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not
the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that
we might know the things that are freely given to us of
God. 13 Which things also we speak, not in the
words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost
teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit
of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know
them, because they are spiritually discerned.
Therefore,
Beloved, please put your mind at ease, and do not trouble
yourselves in trying to figure out who is right and who is wrong
spiritually. You can never succeed!
Simply do this, instead: surrender yourself to the Holy Spirit,
and let Him guide you in everything you do. Fill your mind with
Scripture, particularly the words of Jesus. Then, Holy Spirit will
bring His words to your remembrance, as needed, as He promised:
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will
send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all
things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
As Christians, we all have one thing in common: Jesus Christ, our
Lord. And He is all we need. Let Him run your life moment by
moment, day by day, spontaneously. Do not think too much, and
certainly don't try to out-think God! Just relax. You be the
human, let Him be the God. Then do everything He tells you to do.
Follow His commandments, which He left for us; and follow His
promptings as He gives them to you.
